vested interest:mad Men

1) identified some of the vestied interest in this scene. How do these work?
2)why is PETERS IDEA rejected? And Don idea accepted?
3) introduccion to the tusk.

The men’s of the company would do whatever to sell their cigarettes even lying to the people that by them. When the idea of Peter is refused is cause by the vested interest because they wouldn’t gain anything with that, the two characters said the same but Don said it in a better way, because Peter was making the people 

Aware of the danger of smoking: "So what if cigarettes are dangerous? The world is dangerous. Smoke your cigarette, you still have to get where you're going" the people already know that cigarettes are bad for your health but the advertisement shouldn’t said it, mean while the idea of Don will captive more clients by making the company looked different because the world toasted sound more healthy and this idea would captive more clients than appalling them that would be the effect of the one of Peter.
